Ben Yao

Ben Yao is a student at the University of Pennsylvania's Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business, pursuing a B.S. in Economics with double concentrations in Finance and Business Analytics, and a B.A. in International Studies with a major in East Asian Languages and Civilizations.

He possesses a deep expertise in Chinese economic and political landscapes, rare earth element mining, and arts investing, along with a versatile skill set encompassing financial modeling, design, digital marketing, and law.

Ben's favorite authors include Daniel Kahneman, Amos Tversky, Philip E. Tetlock, and Nassim Nicholas Taleb.

He has a background in various organizations such as being a Co-Founder at Rareflow, a former Policy Fellow at Harvard University, and having internships at Fulton, Order In, Spiritful, and Auxiom.

Ben Yao's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Economics (B.S.) with a focus on Finance and Business Analytics from The Wharton School, a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (B.A.) specializing in Mandarin and East Asian Area Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, a Critical Language Scholarship in Mandarin from Changchun University sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, and being the Valedictorian at Niskayuna High School.
