Ben Weldon

Ben Weldon is a brand-based creative professional and accidental entrepreneur who made his mark as the Creative Director of Thread Design in Shanghai. Arriving in Shanghai in 2006, Ben leads his team specialized in assisting brands in discovering their market, establishing a voice, and creating branded experiences for consumers. Prior to his ventures in China, Ben traveled globally, supporting himself through freelance design and development projects, including flash animations and various design gigs. His skills were honed during his time in London's digital agency scene during the .com boom from 2000 to 2003, notably at Gurus. Ben is also a talented photographer, adding another creative layer to his skill set. Educated at Buckinghamshire New University and Yeovil College, Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Graphic Design and has a background in art, design, and communication.
