Ben Weinberg

Ben Weinberg is currently the Project Manager for Agriculture Data Infrastructure at OpenTEAM, a role he has held since June 2024. His career is characterized by a strong commitment to sustainable agriculture and the integration of technology within this field. Growing up on a farm in Nebraska, he developed a passion for food systems and sustainable practices early in life, starting with ventures like pastured chickens and sweet corn sales.1

In his position at OpenTEAM, Weinberg coordinates a global community focused on enhancing agricultural data accessibility for farmers. This initiative aims to connect various stakeholders across the agricultural value chain, facilitating better access to insights, ecosystem markets, and conservation incentives. His work emphasizes collaboration among farmers, technologists, and other participants to improve soil health practices on both national and international scales.12

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Weinberg enjoys outdoor activities and values the communal aspect of cooking and sharing meals with others.1
