He is a former CEO of Killara Collective, a cloud consulting firm, and has also held other executive positions in companies such as Telstra, Cisco, and TPG Telecom. In addition to his corporate experience, Vaughan is active in volunteer work and has worked with organizations such as Starlight Children's Foundation and Empower Rugby. He is a former tree planter, and his education includes studying at St Edmund's College in Canberra.
