Benjamin Spear

Ben Spear is a transformative design leader with two decades of experience, specializing in team building, brand strategy, design education, user research, UX/UI, and production.

His educational background includes a BFA in Graphic Design from Boston University and a Semester Abroad program focused on Graphic Design, Book Arts, Printmaking, and Italian Language at Scuola Internazionale di Grafica.

Ben has held various key roles in different organizations, including being a Designer, Coach & Advisor at Benjamin Spear, Design Instructor at General Assembly, Director of Design at HubSpot, Director of Product Design at Lighter, Founder and Principal at Human Experience, Co-founder and Creative Director at Brand Hack, Principal at Thinkside Design, Empathy Researcher at Olson Zaltman, and Junior Designer at Schwadesign.

He is a servant leader who firmly believes in the transformative power of design to make a positive impact on the world and individuals.
