Ben Miet

Ben Miet is an internationally experienced electrical and renewable energy engineer with a BEng hons. degree, specializing in the design and delivery of renewable energy systems.

His career includes work at major companies like Energy Made Clean, Carnegie Clean Energy, Hakai Energy Solitons, CKE Consulting Engineers, Lend lease, and Horizon Power, offering a diverse range of experiences.

Ben possesses a strong technical skillset involving techno-economic feasibility studies, power system design, safety processes, AutoCAD proficiency, standards creation, and technical software utilization.

His interpersonal skills shine in promoting collaboration, leading projects effectively, clear communication, scoping work for consultants, and facilitating design reviews and client meetings.

He is experienced in solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), standalone power systems (SPS), and holds membership with the IET and CEC accreditation.

Ben Miet completed his Bachelor of Engineering with Second Class Hons at Murdoch University and also studied at Trinity College Perth.

Currently, he serves as a Senior Renewables Engineer at Horizon Power, with previous roles including Renewable Energy Engineer, Electrical Engineer, and Manager at various prominent organizations.
