Ben Kimmerling

Ben Kimmerling is the President of Somerset, where he oversees the overall management of the firm.1 He is currently a Senior Managing Director at CBIZ Somerset, a position he has held since December 1997.1 Prior to this, he worked as a CPA at L.M. Henderson & Company for 9 years from 1988 to 1997.1

Ben received his B.S. in Accounting from Ball State University, graduating in 1986.1 He has been actively involved in the CPA profession at both state and national levels for over 20 years.2 His contributions include:

• Serving on the Board of Directors of the Indiana CPA Society from 2003 to 2007, including chairing the board from 2006 to 20072
• Participating in various committees and councils of the Indiana CPA Society, such as the Finance Committee, Government Relations Advisory Council, and Leadership Cabinet2
• Representing the Indiana CPA Society as a member of the AICPA Council2
• Being elected by the AICPA to serve as the Indiana delegate for its Governing Council2
