Ben Keen is a seasoned legal professional with a strong educational background in Law and Public Policy. He holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from York University's Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Public Policy and Administration from York University.
Throughout his career, Ben has gained valuable experience in securities and capital markets, having served in various roles at reputable organizations. He is currently a Partner in the Securities and Capital Markets division at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG). Prior to his current position, he held the title of Senior Associate at BLG. He has also worked as an Associate in Corporate & Securities at Baker McKenzie and as Legal Counsel at Fidelity Investments.
Ben's early career involved roles such as Articling Student at the Ontario Securities Commission - Corporate Finance Branch, Articling Student at Heenan Blaikie, and Division Leader at Community & Legal Aid Services Programme. He also gained experience as a General Assistant and Summer Intern at the Ontario Ministry of Finance - Office of the Minister.
