Ben Kaplan, MPA

Ben Kaplan is a highly skilled professional with rich experience in nonprofit and government management, communications, policy research, and writing. He is a graduate of NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, where he studied for a Master of Public Administration degree with a focus on Nonprofit Management and Policy. With his knowledge and expertise, Ben has worked for various organizations and institutions in different capacities over the years, helping to make policy issues understandable to the public.

At NJ TRANSIT, Ben is presently serving as the Director of Executive Communications. Prior to his current role, he was the Senior Writer/Strategic Communications Assistant at the State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Communications Manager at The International Federation of Accountants, and Speechwriter at New York City Comptroller's Office, among several others.

In addition to his professional work, Ben has also been involved in other activities, including serving as a consultant at Career Gear and as the founder of Calicat Productions.
