Ben Haugen

Ben Haugen is an accomplished professional with a background in geological and geophysical engineering. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a B.A. in Geology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Ben has held various key positions in the geotechnical and engineering geology sectors, showcasing his expertise and experience in the field. Currently, Ben serves as the Remote Geotechnics Program Lead at RESPEC, a role that highlights his leadership and strategic skills in managing geotechnical projects.

Prior to his current role, Ben has held several significant positions, including Sr. Geotechnical Solutions Engineer at Maptek, Engineering Geologist at AECOM, Research Geologist at the US Army Corps of Engineers, Geologist at Naval Postgraduate School, Student Intern at Carnegie Institution for Science, and Student Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder. These roles have enriched his knowledge and provided him with diverse experiences within the geology and engineering domains.
