Ben Duranske

Ben Duranske is a versatile professional, who has developed a varied career in financial services, compliance, law, and entrepreneurship with a focus on technology disruption. With a BA in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Minnesota Morris, and a JD from UC Berkeley Law, Duranske brings a deep knowledge of legal frameworks to his role as a financial services executive. In his previous roles, Duranske served as Director at TiliaPay, Strategic Advisor at Global Data Consortium, and Chief Compliance Officer of Facebook Payments Inc. / Associate General Counsel at Facebook. Duranske also co-founded Beam Solutions, Inc., where he served as CEO, and Regtech Strategy LLC, where he was Principal Advisor. Duranske's experience in financial services and entrepreneurship makes him a thought leader in regulatory technologies (RegTechs) and compliance.

As a lecturer at Santa Clara Law, his alma mater, Duranske also imparted his knowledge for the betterment of law students. Additionally, he has worked as an attorney for law firms such as Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, and Perkins Coie LLP, and served in IT roles at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP and Sebaly Shillito + Dyer. More recently, Duranske has taken on the role of Financial Services Compliance Strategy at Apple.
