Ben Malor

Ben Dotsei Malor is a seasoned communication professional with a diverse educational background and an illustrious career in various prestigious organizations.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Statistics, as well as a Master of Science, obtained from the University of Glasgow.

Early in his academic journey, Ben studied at Mawuli School and Keta Secondary School.

Throughout his career, Ben has held key roles in renowned institutions. He notably served as the Chief Editor at UN News within the United Nations News and Media Division.

Prior to this, Ben held the position of Senior Communications Advisor and Presidential Spokesperson at the Presidency of Ghana, showcasing his expertise in strategic communication.

His experience within the United Nations is extensive, with roles such as Chief Executive Producer at UN Radio, Senior Communications Advisor, Associate Spokesperson at the United Nations OCHA, and Spokesperson and Deputy Chief of Public Information at the UN Mission in Liberia.

Ben's proficiency in media production is evident through his tenure as Chief Executive Producer at the United Nations Department of Public Information News and Media Division in New York, as well as his previous roles at the BBC as the Deputy Editor of Focus on Africa, Producer-Presenter, and Senior Producer.

His career journey also includes a significant role as a Student and Lecturer at the University of Ghana Legon, demonstrating his commitment to education and knowledge sharing.
