Initially aspiring to be a physicist, Ben transitioned into software development and data analytics during his academic journey. With a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Toronto, a certification in Data Science, and training in Full-Stack Software Engineering from Holberton School, Ben possesses a diverse educational background.

During his academic tenure, Ben served as a Teaching Assistant and Study Group Facilitator at the University of Toronto, showcasing his dedication to helping others enhance their subject understanding. Additionally, Ben volunteered at Peace by PEACE, where he imparted conflict resolution techniques to elementary school students.
