Training and education manager
Ben Clarke is a seasoned training and education professional with a rich background of 20 years in designing, developing, and delivering technical courses, as well as excelling in account management and customer service.
During his tenure at GS1 UK, Ben was instrumental in establishing the training function that has successfully trained a myriad of organizations ranging from multinational consumer packaged goods companies to major retailers, NHS Trusts, medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers, and small to medium enterprises.
Apart from traditional face-to-face training, Ben has pioneered and implemented effective webinar, eLearning, and certification programs to cater to GS1 UK's diverse customer base, in addition to being a sought-after speaker at various conferences.
Ben's educational background includes studying at King Edward VI Camp Hill and completing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sport and Recreation Development from Leeds Metropolitan University.
Prior to his role as a training and education manager at GS1 UK, Ben held positions such as Account Executive and part of the Service Team within the same organization. He also served as an XPart Account Manager at both Caterpillar Logistics Services, Inc. and MG Rover.
