Ben Chapman

Ben Chapman is an enthusiastic maker and adventurer known for creating ecologically and socially impactful technologies. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Olin College of Engineering, with a focus on mechanical design, prototyping, sustainable design, and developing-world manufacturing.

Ben has gained valuable experience through various roles in reputable organizations, notably working as a Mechanical / Sustaining Engineer at NanoString Technologies, Inc. at different levels, and as a Lead Manufacturing Engineer at BURN Manufacturing Co. He also contributed as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Sustainability Maker Advocate at Autodesk. Ben's early career included a role as a Green Campus Fellow at Olin College Department of Facilities.
