Ben Burns

Ben Burns is a multitalented individual excelling as a designer, entrepreneur, author, and leader, currently holding the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at The Futur.

Before his role at The Futur, Ben founded Burnt Creative, a brand experience agency in Richmond, Virginia, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit. Additionally, he actively contributed as the Vice President on the executive board of the Richmond AIGA chapter.

Ben's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Media Arts with a focus on New Media from the University of South Carolina. He also holds a Master's Certificate in Cyber Security from Armstrong Atlantic University, further broadening his expertise.

Throughout his career, Ben has collaborated with prominent brands such as DreamWorks, Paramount Pictures, AMC, TBS, (Olympic) Team USA, Laika, Hyatt, and various innovative startups, showcasing his diverse skill set and creativity.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Ben is an Army Veteran, demonstrating his commitment to service and experience in a variety of fields.

Ben Burns also has a rich background in art and design, having held roles like Storyboard Artist, Concept Artist, Illustrator, and Designer in esteemed organizations such as Warner Bros. Animation, 72andSunny, Ignition Creative LLC, and many more.

His educational journey includes a focus on Entertainment Illustration at ArtCenter College of Design and studies in Music, Art, and Film at Santa Barbara City College, reflecting his passion for creativity and multidisciplinary skills.
