Ben Applebaum is a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry.

He has been involved in transactions exceeding $2 billion and played a pivotal role in acquiring or developing real estate worth over $750 million.

In 2019, Ben established Spring Ridge Ventures to identify real estate and alternative asset investments offering superior risk-adjusted returns.

Spring Ridge collaborates with high net worth individuals, family offices, private equity firms, and institutional investors across diverse asset types to uncover value-creating opportunities.

Before founding Spring Ridge, Ben dedicated 15 years to the Welsh organization, contributing to its growth into a national industrial REIT with a robust private capital arm.

During his tenure at Welsh, Ben shaped investment strategies that steered WPT Industrial REIT and its private capital business.

He held various senior leadership roles at WPT, including membership in the internal Investment Committee.

Ben played a key role in a successful IPO on the Toronto Stock Exchange, showcasing his expertise in public markets.

His skills span deal structuring, debt and equity procurement, due diligence, real estate operations, leasing, project underwriting, and closings.

Ben is an active participant in NAIOP and serves on the NAIOP Industrial Acquisitions II National Forum, being acknowledged as a NAIOP National Developing Leader in 2007.

He pursued his education in Real Estate Finance, obtaining a BS degree from the University of St. Thomas.
