Belinda Yan is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the investment management industry as an executive search consultant and financial services professional.

She has a strong background in working with various entities within the financial sector, including private equity and venture capital firms, hedge funds, foundations, endowments, OCIOs, fund of funds, and traditional investment management firms.

Belinda specializes in investment and distribution searches for alternative investment strategies, focusing on private capital and is adept at building exceptional teams, including first-time funds.

Prior to her executive search career, Belinda spent a decade at Merrill Lynch & Co., where she held roles as a Director and senior member of the institutional sales and international sales trading teams in San Francisco and New York.

She kickstarted her career as an equity sales trader at Smith New Court PLC, the UK's largest independent brokerage firm, before it was acquired by Merrill Lynch in 1995.
