Robert W. Benedict III

Robert W. Benedict III is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in sales, marketing, and business development spanning over two decades.

Currently serving as the Chairman and Chief Marketing Officer of Unicorn Solar Development (USD) since August 2019, Robert brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles in prominent companies.

Prior to joining USD, he held the position of Vice President of Sales for the Americas at RECOM, where he successfully grew sales by 32% annually over seven years and played a crucial role in expanding the US market.

Before his tenure at RECOM, Robert held key executive positions at Jinko Solar, where he spearheaded the company's entry into the North American market as the Head of Business Development.

With a foundation in management consulting from his early years at Arthur Andersen Consulting, Robert's career trajectory led him to senior leadership roles in various industries, including software, consulting, and solar energy.

His expertise in sales and risk management has contributed significantly to revenue growth and market development throughout his career.

A distinguished alum, Robert earned his MBA in Business Administration/Management/Corporate Governance from UCLA Anderson School of Management and completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management from the University of Michigan.
