Becky Updike

Becky Updike is a highly experienced public policy advocate and researcher, specializing in child welfare, early childhood education, and human services issues. Her more than 20 years of experience have equipped her with a wide range of skills, including coalition-building, community and government relations, policy analysis, research, legislative relations, nonprofit and association management, and public speaking. Updike holds a doctorate in Child & Family Policy from the University of Denver, as well as a Master's degree in Child & Family Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Currently, she represents the Colorado Association of Family and Children's Agencies and Fostering Colorado. Prior to this, Updike was the Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain Children's Law Center and the Vice President of Child & Family Services at Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains. She also served as the Child Protection Ombudsman at the Office of Colorado's Child Protection Ombudsman, Executive Director of the Colorado Judicial Institute, and Director of External Affairs at Colorado Care Management.
