Having previously founded Trustev in 2012, a leader in e-commerce fraud prevention, I founded dyscover to tackle the ever growing crisis impacting the security of our digital identities. We have all been impacted by the large scale security breaches over the last number of years, and as a result we are more conscious over who controls our data . We can no longer trust a centralised authority to maintain and secure our identity.

Real Time, Online Identity Verification using Social FingerprintingPutting the Who and not just the How back into the Online Payment equation through real-time, online identity verification, Trustev uses social data and a number of additional dynamic data sources to verify a potential customers identity ensuring that an online merchant can be assured they are transacting with a real individual. Our social fingerprinting technology uses proprietary algorithms to analyze data sources such as activity and interactions on social networks, email address, IP, Location, transaction history and others to create a Trustev score for the individual which can be benchmarked to allow or deny an interaction/transaction or flag it for manual review. The additional checks and balances our technology creates dramatically reduce the number of transactions sent for manual review creating substantial cost savings for the company.
