Steve Coulter

Steve Coulter is a Political Economist with a wealth of experience in academia, journalism and policy analysis. He holds a PhD in European Political Economy from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Master of Arts in History from the University of Cambridge. Coulter has worked in roles such as Head of Industrial Strategy, Skills and Sustainability at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, Visiting Fellow at the European Institute at LSE, Head of Communications and Publications at European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) and Senior Economics and Business Analyst at BBC News.

He has written several books, numerous academic articles, think tank and policy papers on economic, political and labour market issues. Coulter has also appeared on several media outlets such as BBC, C4 and Sky providing commentary on current affairs.
