Tom Schrack

Tom Schrack is an accomplished accounting executive with a talent for problem-solving and a track record of success.

During his tenure at WhyHotel, Tom successfully expanded the accounting team from 1 to 6 employees in anticipation of company growth.

He spearheaded the implementation of a comprehensive monthly financial statement close process, streamlining operations and enabling faster external reporting.

Tom introduced and facilitated the adoption of expense and invoice tools like Certify and Procurify for over 100 and 50 employees respectively, showcasing his leadership and training skills.

At EY, Tom demonstrated his ability to manage and lead diverse teams across multiple countries for projects of varying complexities.

He was selected as one of 30 individuals out of over 3,000 employees to serve on EY's Greater Washington People Advisory Board, participating in strategic decision-making for the region.

Tom Schrack holds a Master's degree in Accounting from James Madison University, with a concentration in European Business from Universiteit Antwerpen, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from James Madison University.

Throughout his career, Tom has held key roles such as Controller & Senior Director of Accounting at WhyHotel, and various positions within EY, including Executive, Manager, Senior, and Staff positions in Assurance Services and Forensic & Integrity Services.

He also contributed as a Graduate Assistant at James Madison University and gained experience through internships at EY and Freddie Mac, as well as earlier roles at different companies.
