David Lee is currently the Executive Vice President of Samsung overseeing investments and M&A as well as heading Samsung NEXT. Prior to this role, he worked at notable companies such as Refactor, SV Angel, and Google. He completed his education in a variety of fields including Economics, Law, and Android development. Lee also has experience in software engineering, teaching, and founding his own company Aptjoy.

During his career, Lee has worked as a Director of Product Engineering at BuildZoom and also as a Software Engineer for the same company. His experience includes working as an Associate Attorney for Probus Law Firm PLLC, a Judicial Intern for the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas and as a Judicial Extern for the Colorado Supreme Court. He has completed various programs at Holme Roberts & Owen LLP (now Bryan Cave HRO), the California Attorney General's office, and Omonogawa Junior High School.
