Mo Ahmed is an accomplished entrepreneur and computer scientist with over a decade of experience in leading engineering and program management teams at top-notch companies such as Microsoft, Amazon and Climate Corporation, among others. He is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Magalix, a cloud infrastructure management platform that helps companies automate their DevOps practices. Mo's breadth of knowledge in computer engineering is impressive, having earned a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management as well as a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering, specializing in high-performance computing (HPC). He is a proud alumni of Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, where he developed his leadership and project management skills. Mo is also an active member of the academic community, having helped mold the minds of future computer scientists as an Assistant Professor at the American University in Cairo and the German University in Cairo. Mo is passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship, having received a Stanford Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate, and is constantly seeking ways to inspire and transform markets. He has authored 13 publications in operating systems architecture and high-performance computing, as well as a book on multi-core architecture, algorithms, and applications.
