Rene Bonomi is a seasoned business development professional with vast experience working with startups and corporations. He is an expert in financial advisory, structuring M&A transactions, and capital raising. He has a passion for environmental finance & impact investing, venture capital, and startup acceleration. Rene has an impressive international business background, working in Latin America, the United States, and Europe. He is fluent in three languages and is conversational in German and Italian.

Bonomi pursued an industrial engineering degree from UFSCar, one of the top engineering schools in Brazil, and an MBA from Cornell University. During his MBA program, he focused on environmental finance & impact investing and pursued a fellowship in this field. Bonomi owns a consulting business that supports entrepreneurs, startups, and corporations on financial strategy, business modeling, and business strategy with a focus on social & environmental impact. His industry expertise includes industrials, renewable energy, healthcare, biotechnology, agriculture, food production, and social and environmental impact.

In addition to his extensive professional experience, Bonomi has volunteered for several non-profits. He worked as the social projects manager at Instituto CEO do Futuro, a Brazilian non-profit that provides career development for low-income students. He has also worked as a mentor for entrepreneurs at Seed Spot, a social impact accelerator in the USA. Bonomi is currently working on initiatives to increase blended finance structures to increase the number of deals in the social and environmental industries.
