Michael Burychka is a seasoned business advisor and technology entrepreneur, with experience building successful companies around the world. He is the founder and CEO of IP Group, Inc., an innovative investment firm based in Wilmington, Delaware, focused on commercializing hard science technologies. Burychka is a graduate of the London Business School and Bucknell University, with additional post-baccalaureate studies completed at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from China Europe International Business School.

Prior to founding IP Group, Burychka served as managing director of capital markets at Imprimatur Capital and head of private capital markets at Lehman Brothers International. His leadership roles also include serving as CFO at The Climate Group and founding investor/director at MOBILion Systems and investor/director at Enachip, Lumiode, Chip Diagnostics, Uniformity Labs, and Exyn Technologies.

As the head of IP Group, Burychka is primarily focused on developing a robust and disciplined approach to investing in early-stage technologies, including those from some of the country's top universities, such as the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, and Columbia University. IP Group also invests in federal labs, such as Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and Argonne, among others.
