Gerry Lacey, an accomplished leader in industry and academia, has a passion for leveraging technology to create change and growth. With a strong background in computer engineering, robotics, and augmented reality, he has founded and grown two technology startups that have successfully brought deep IP from lab to market. Gerry currently serves as the Associate Professor of Computer Science at Trinity College Dublin and has previously held leadership positions as CTO and CEO at SureWash, Bursar and Director of Strategic Innovation at Trinity College Dublin and Co-Founder and CTO at Haptica. In his academic work, he researches human-machine collaboration using machine learning, augmented reality, and robotics. With his extensive experience in entrepreneurship, strategic innovation, and computer engineering, Gerry brings a wealth of knowledge to any team.
