Richard "Ricky" Caplin is a prominent entrepreneur and the current CEO of The HCI Group, a company he founded and led to success before being acquired by Tech Mahindra, where he is now also CEO of Healthcare & Life Sciences. Caplin is a highly accomplished business leader with expertise in various industries, including health tech, gov tech, HR tech, artificial intelligence, cyber security, construction, and engineering.

Caplin's impact extends beyond his entrepreneurial ventures, as he has also received awards for his civic service and was named as a "Rising Star" and "Global Leader" by Consulting Magazine. He graduated with both a bachelor's and master's degree in Accounting from the University of Florida, and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. Caplin lives in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife and three children.
