- Support Avon Protection with new product launch and submission needs. Includes quoting activity for new parts, evaluating cost, negotiation, placing orders, managing deliveries to meet program timelines, coordinating PPAP needs, and collaboration with Avon Engineering, Quality, and Project Management teams.- Support Avon Engineering with modifications to existing products by ordering samples, evaluating cost, assisting production with implementation of new product without interruption of business.- Liaise between Avon Protection quality and suppliers to resolve defective product and/or performance issues.- Support government orders while maintaining compliance with required documentation and processes. Communicate order information to production teams, ensure timely delivery of product to avoid late orders/shortages to government entities. - Manage supplier relations including onboarding, communicating expectations, maintain supplier records, and lead Supplier Performance Reviews.
