Nicolas Guillemont is a highly experienced Structured Finance Director with a strong background in the energy sector. He joined Lightsource BP in 2018 and has since been responsible for the company's structured finance operations. Prior to this, Nicolas spent over two years at ContourGlobal as Vice-President Project Finance, where he was primarily responsible for raising senior debt financings for new projects. Before that, he spent nearly a decade at Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking, where he advised, structured, and arranged large financings for a number of energy projects in the Power and Oil & Gas sectors, working on financing projects located in Europe, Turkey, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. Overall, he has a vast experience in finance, project management, engineering and corporate strategy.

Nicolas holds a Master's degree in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris, as well as a Master's degree in Applied Economics from Université Paris Dauphine. He has also studied a Bachelor's degree Science at Lycée Sainte-Geneviève in France. Additionally, he has worked with leading organizations such as Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking, ContourGlobal and Michelin in various capacities.
