Gianna Sagazio
Gianna Sagazio is the Innovation Director at CNI (Brazil’s National Confederation of Industry), overseeing the Entrepreneurial Mobilization for Innovation (MEI) and policy matters related to innovation and management innovation.
Prior to her current role, she held advisory positions at the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) and played a key role in shaping Brazilian industrial policies and science, technology, and innovation policies from 2011 to 2014.
With a strong background spanning over two decades at the United Nations (PNUD) focusing on economic development, strategic planning, and policy evaluation, she brings a wealth of experience to the field.
Gianna Sagazio holds a master's degree in Economic Development from the Catholic University of Brasilia and is certified in Strategy and Innovation from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). She has also actively participated in various international initiatives promoting innovation collaboration.
Having studied at prestigious institutions like MIT Sloan School of Management and the Wharton School, Gianna Sagazio is well-versed in Entrepreneurship Development, Strategic Management, and International Development.
She is associated with ENRICH in Brazil, a European Network of Research and Innovation Centers and Hubs, further showcasing her commitment to fostering global innovation partnerships and networks.
