Michael Ulrich is a communications and marketing professional with a diverse career spanning over two decades. He currently serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Brightside at ATB Financial, where he is spearheading the development of a groundbreaking digital banking experience that caters to the needs of Albertans.

Michael’s passion for effective communication led him to study Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communications at Royal Roads University and Broadcast News at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. His previous roles include Director of Professional Practice, Director of Reputation & Brand, and Senior Manager of Communications at ATB Financial, External Relations Officer at the University of Alberta, and Communications Advisor at Samaritan's Purse Canada. He also has experience in television news production and was a News Anchor/Reporter at CHTK Television.

Michael’s expertise in marketing, communications, and digital banking make him a valuable asset to Brightside and ATB Financial. He is dedicated to demystifying finances and helping Albertans make informed financial decisions that serve their best interests.
