Anil Gupta is a game-changing and accomplished technology leader with a strong business acumen, who has worked in systems infrastructure and data analytics for over 25 years. With a track record of delivering high-quality enterprise-class products and cloud services to customers, he has built and mentored teams at startups and created startup-like environments within growth companies. He currently works as the Vice President of Engineering at Sumo Logic, leading the flagship machine data analytics platform used for Operations Intelligence and Security Intelligence solutions.

Prior to Sumo Logic, Anil led one of the top-three technology initiatives for Intuit, building a secure financial data connectivity SaaS platform on AWS Cloud. Before his time at Intuit, Anil was the Senior Director of Engineering at VMware, leading the CloudOps Management Suite that used predictive data analytics on billions of metrics and logs data to proactively monitor and troubleshoot IT Infrastructure and Apps performance, capacity utilization, and compliance. He was also responsible for driving the development of industry-first NFV systems and server virtualization products during his tenure as VP Engineering at 3Leaf Networks and held various leadership positions at Inkra Networks, Lsi Corporation, and Unisys.

Anil holds a BSEE from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, an MBA from UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and is pursuing further studies in Data Science & Machine Learning. He has been awarded five patents in multiprocessor communications and software design.
