Hannah Kreiswirth is a seasoned creative director, business strategist, and entrepreneur with a passion for innovation, digital products, and social impact. As the Chief Operating Officer at AREA 17, she puts her skills into action, building strategies and systems that allow interdisciplinary teams to innovate and create world-class digital products. Hannah's extensive background in media, publishing, and the tech scene has equipped her with a unique set of skills, which she uses to connect people, processes, and partners, enabling them to create meaningful change in their work. Her work has been recognized by various publications, including The Guardian, The New York Times, The Washington Post, BuzzFeed, and others.
Hannah's educational background includes Creative Advertising, Building a Portfolio and Creative Advertising from Ad House NYC and the School of Visual Arts, Graphic Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School, and BAH, History and Film Studies from Queen's University.
In addition to her role as COO at AREA 17, Hannah is also a Partner at the agency. She has served as a former Board Member at SoDA: The Digital Society and as the former Global Managing Director at AREA 17. Prior to joining AREA 17, she was the former Senior Director, Head of Creative and Production at Purpose, where she built and established a new department and business line, re-envisioned the company’s brand and organizational design, and led a team of designers, campaigners, and storytellers in creating organizational and systemic change through creative products and campaigns designed for public engagement.
Hannah enjoys running and cycling around Brooklyn, gardening, traveling to new countries, and eating spicy food. Her expertise lies in creative direction, business strategy, social impact, innovation, digital products, branding, organizational design, and partnership building.
