Taylor Barden, a Vice President and Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley, is a seasoned professional with nearly two decades of experience in the financial industry. He received his BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from North Carolina State University. After graduation, Taylor started his financial career with PaineWebber in 2001, which was later acquired by UBS. He has been with Morgan Stanley's wealth management division since 2007. Taylor has earned several designations, including Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA), and is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA).
As a financial advisor, Taylor focuses on helping business owners and entrepreneurs develop and implement successful succession strategies. He adopts a three-pronged approach of Price, Process, and People to prepare clients for succession planning. By leveraging Morgan Stanley's investment bankers and their network of global and boutique investment banks, Taylor helps his clients maximize their company's value and coordinate with their attorneys and accountants to meet their objectives.
In his spare time, Taylor enjoys running and coaching baseball. He also serves on the board of Let Me Run, a non-profit organization that encourages boys to lead healthy lifestyles. Taylor is a family man who loves spending time with his wife, Beth, and their three children named Oliver, Sullivan, and Harper.
