- Supporting the CEO in ensuring that the Academy meets the quality and performance targets and to maintain compliance with academic quality and legal requirements (Ofsted, QAA, Office for Students, ESFA, Prime Contractors, Awarding Bodies, etc). Achieved good in first Ofsted inspection for the Academy, passed Matrix Standard, ISI and BAC inspections.- Supporting the CEO in ensuring that the Academy meets the student growth, developments and financial targets.- Provide significant contribution to the development of strategies, plans and opportunities for business growth, diversification and specialisation in the Academy which ensure that the educational offer is continually renewed.- Responsible for ensuring a high quality learning experience putting the learner at the heart of everything the Academy does and enhancing the effectiveness of learners and employers’ representatives so that they have a significant impact on the learner journey.- Responsible for providing a high quality, innovative, effective and efficient curriculum offer, taking the lead on planning, development and setting of a wide curriculum offer at FE, HE and other responsive provision.- Responsible for the development and support of a holistic curriculum management approach to ensuring the highest standards of service throughout the organisation using the values of the organisation to raise expectations and the standards of performance of managers and staff.- The observation and implementation of the policies and procedures of the Academy. - Leading cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams with significant responsibility for resources.- Responsible for representing and promoting the Academy internally and externally, including attendance at local, regional and international events.- Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, efficiency and value for money.

- Responsible for delivering and assessing Industry Certified Qualifications in Jewellery Manufacture and 2D Design.- Maintaining up to date course outline forms, lesson plans, schemes of work, assessment paperwork tracking learner’s progress and achievements.- Ensure adherence to the Health and Safety Standards, promote equality and diversity and follow safeguarding procedures.

As one of the 25 designers asked to design a "star" for the event "Limburgse sterren voor Europa" I designed a multifunctional object/broche which was auctioned for the charity "Een hart voor Limburg”. The event was celebrating the 25 years of European events in Limburg, a celebration of the ‘Limburg verzilvert Europa’-project.

Through my education at the MAD faculty we had the opportunity to create a design for the VOKA innovation award and the team of VOKA choose my design for the 2010 award.The design was an innovative representation of the oldest innovation that mankind realised: the wheel. Mankind was able to develop the wheel by determining the centre of a circular piece of wood. In this award the search for the centre has been visualised to underline the importance of trial and error.

Eclats De Roche is the result of a collaboration between Magaly Hermans, Lien Hereijgers and  Sofie Boons and started of as a multipleproject at the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp (Belgium). The jewellery has been sold on many venues of which "De winkelhaak", "De Invasie", "De Markt van Morgen" and the "Beparkte Oplage".
