Business Owner of "The Beach Hut" and Co Owner of a 2nd Business "MJ's Ice Cream". Both beachfront businesses serve locals and holiday makers throughout the year in my beautiful hometown of Filey. I finally took the plunge in 2018 and followed a long held desire to run my own business. The previous year my partner and I bought an ice cream business on the beachfront and the knowledge gained helping her set up and run that business proved invalauable for this new venture.The Beach Hut is a small business on the beachfront that sells Barista made quality speciality coffee. Also offering customers  a choice of seaside favourites such as doughnuts, waffles and a variety of hot snacks to take-away. The main custom is however the coffee and already I am getting some amazing feedback from the families who have already visited me on their Holiday in this early part of the year. Coming back daily throughout their stay and recommending me to their friends who visit Filey at the weekends.My business aim is simple, which is to provide quality premium product at a non premium price. To a quality far beyond the competition around me. It is to some extent a long game as people tend to stick to the places they know or are familiar with when they visit Filey beach regularly through the years ; however all the business that has come to me to-date even if its only because my queue is shorter or turned around more quickly I keep. I believe that is because the service and product they receive has been the best.
