•	Promoted to TIAA’s first enterprise CMO role in environment of declining retirement market share. Acted as strategic advisor to new CEO in divesting non-core businesses and renewing focus on retirement (TIAA) and investment management (Nuveen) businesses.

•	Developed digital marketing & communications strategy and organization design to enable execution of new corporate strategy.

•	Co-led ESG strategy, including products & investments, DEI, sustainability, governance, and communications. Recognized by Ethisphere Institute as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

•	Played critical role in increasing AUM from $221 billion at YE15 to $1.2 trillion at YE22.

•	Led pivot from multi-affiliate model (13 independent asset managers serving institutional clients) to mono, digital-forward, institutional and retail Nuveen brand (fixed income, alternative, and ESG-driven investments). Required significant effort for Board approvals. 

•	Drove entry to RIA market with creation and implementation of digital distribution model. Differentiated offering with ESG products, digital engagement, predictive modeling, and Salesforce access & training.
