Bas van Woortman is a well-respected attorney at law with a focus on life sciences and technology. He currently works as a partner at international law firm, Simmons & Simmons, in their Amsterdam office. He has an extensive background in international patent litigation and advises on all aspects of life sciences and technology including regulatory matters, trademarks, and advertising. Bas is also experienced in transfer of IP rights, licensing, R&D agreements, and corporate issues such as the IP aspects in M&A and IPO's. He studied at Radboud University and Vrije Universiteit Brussel and has worked at other top law firms including Freshfields and Stibbe before joining Simmons & Simmons.
