Josh Fuhrmann, a software engineering manager and economic consultant, has an extensive background in distributed systems, messaging and serialization, workflow coordination, service-oriented architecture, SQL, and Java. With experience in both small teams and large organizations, he has also worked with Perl, Mason, JSP, Python, XML/XSLT, R, and Stata. His interests lie in bringing analytic insight to firms and in the business of technology. He studied Economics and Computer Science at Brown University and also holds a Master's in Business Administration from The Tuck School Of Business At Dartmouth. In his previous roles, Josh led teams to find strategies for solving long-lived problems both in data analysis and coordinating development efforts across multiple departments.
