Ryo Hotta is an accomplished physician-scientist who specializes in pediatric and neonatal surgery, general surgery, stem cell research, cell therapy, and the enteric nervous system. He earned a PhD in Medicine from the University of Melbourne and an MB in Medicine from The Jikei University. Dr. Hotta is currently an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and a former Instructor at the same institution. He has also served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and a Clinical Fellow at Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. Dr. Hotta completed his residency and internship at St. Luke's International Hospital in Japan before pursuing further training in Melbourne, Australia.
