Stav Gil

Stav Gil, an expert in the payments industry, has an impressive background in product management, strategy, prepaid cards, debit cards, payment processing, start-ups, and strategic partnerships. He currently serves as the GM for Payment Products at numo, a PNC Fintech Incubator, where he oversees the development and launch of innovative payment products.

Prior to his role at numo, Stav was the Chief Operating Officer of Bambu System, where he was recruited to build the product and operations of Bambu, a startup building a financial services app for under-served consumers. He then went on to become the Global Product Head- Tokenization and Card Issuing Platform at PayPal, where he implemented a groundbreaking transformation of PayPal capabilities in tokenization and card issuance, developing new products such as online tokens, EMV/NFC cards, and mobile payments.

Before PayPal, Stav was the Vice President of Product Development for First Data Corporation, where he expanded the company's open-loop product management through strategic partnerships with Walmart, Bank of America, and Blackboard, resulting in multiple award-winning prepaid card programs. He was also the Senior Vice President of Operations for Money Network, a First Data Company, where he created a customer-centric culture serving over 2000 clients and 2 million cardholders while growing the company's revenue from $10M to $100M annually before leading to an acquisition by First Data for $220M.

Stav holds a Master of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Northeastern University. He currently serves as the VP, Banking Products at Dave, and has previously served as an Executive in Residence, Entrepreneur, Consultant, and Investor at Payment Consulting.
