Katherine Armstrong is an accomplished executive director and consultant with extensive experience working with cultural, educational, and philanthropic institutions. She excels in CEO searches and recruitment of transformation executive teams, and specializes in advising boards of social impact organizations. Katherine is currently the Executive Director of Russell Reynolds Associates, and leads RRA's global Arts and Culture Practice. She is also a member of RRA's Education, Diversity & Inclusion, and Social Justice practices. Katherine's expertise in recruiting leaders of museums and other cultural institutions, fine arts museums, science and natural history museums, aquariums and zoos, performing arts centers, artist foundations and residencies, and cultural organizations have brought her recognition in these fields. Her professional background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Bowdoin College, an English teaching experience at the Tanzanian Children's Fund, and project management experience with Dunleavy & Associates.
