Henry Mascot

Henry Mascot is a tech entrepreneur with a passion for solving problems through technology. He is the Co-founder and CEO of Curacel, an AI insurtech company that is driving insurance inclusion in emerging markets in Africa. With a diploma in Technology Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Henry's background has been instrumental in the development of Curacel, which now enables automated claims and detects fraud across multiple insurance verticals in Africa.

In addition to his role at Curacel, Henry is a seasoned angel investor in companies such as Playjoor and Roqqu. He has also advised and worked with various organizations including 54gene, Amplified Payment System Limited, Oncopadi, Falcon and Associates, and MEST, among others. Henry's passion for building and learning about exponential technologies is undeniable.

Henry's educational background includes studying Full Stack Web Development Certification in Computer Software Engineering at freeCodeCamp and Technology Entrepreneurship at Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology. Additionally, he is a former Fellow at Harambeans and a former Cohort Member at Startupbootcamp. He was also part of the Founder's program Cohort for 2020 at STATION F.
