Robert C. Demarzo is a high-tech veteran with extensive knowledge and background in IT sales, channels, and midmarket. He is currently the Content Lead for Channel Media & Events at Informa Tech. Prior to this role, he served as the Senior Vice President Event Content & Strategy for The Channel Company. Demarzo possesses deep knowledge of IT solution providers, tech suppliers, CIOs, and senior IT leaders, developed over the years in numerous leadership roles.

Demarzo was on the launch team of several successful IT events, including NexGen Conference, Women of the Channel West, XChange University: IT Security, and Midsize Enterprise IT Security Summit. He has helped transition these events to virtual and digital platforms. In his current role, Demarzo works with a team to set the themes, position, agenda, and strategic direction of events, while developing content, selecting keynote speakers, mapping out the event experience for attendees and sponsors, and coaching high-level executives. He is skilled in writing, editing, and public speaking, making him an effective communicator and coach.

Demarzo's educational background includes Business Management at Hofstra University, Technology & Business at Jamestown Community College, and a BA in Mass Communications from Saint Bonaventure University. He has held various editorial leadership and reporting positions at CMP Media, where he played a critical role in the launch and revitalization of several industry-leading publications, including CRN, VARBusiness, Manufacturing Week, and Macintosh News.
