Leia Ruseva is a passionate problem solver with a background in business strategy, development, marketing, and media relations. She was raised in a post-communist country where she admired the entrepreneurial spirit and multiculturalism of American culture. After moving to Boston with only $300 and working three jobs to put herself through college, she made her dream of starting her own company a reality in 2019 by co-founding EllisX. Her company is inspired by American values that include entrepreneurship, immigration, and quality journalism. She has expertise in launching and leading new programs and initiatives with a company-wide impact. She attended the High School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and completed her Bachelor's degree at Brandeis University. She is a former board member at Open Avenues, a former co-founder at Ellis Project, and had stints as the President of the Brandeis International Journal, intern at Splitzee, and intern at Tripod Education Partners, Inc. Additionally, she worked as the Customer Success & Advocacy and Business Development at NetBrain Technologies Inc.
