Dominic Lau is a versatile professional dedicated to helping build early-stage startups. He graduated from the University of Waterloo AFM program and has previous experience in venture capital analysis, advising idea-stage startups, managing not-for-profits, and public accounting. Lau is currently an Associate at Ripple Ventures, where he plays a critical role in identifying and supporting promising startups with high-growth potential. He has also been a Program Lead for the RippleX Fellowship, helping to shape the career trajectory of young entrepreneurs. Lau is a former Scout & Selection Team member at Waterloo Alumni Angels, where he leveraged his investment expertise to support startups in the Waterloo region. In addition, he has gained valuable experience as an Associate at University of Waterloo Student Venture Fund, a Venture Capital Analyst at Extreme Innovations, and a Student Incubator Mentor at Sandbox Basecamp Program at The DMZ.
