Coby Ben-Poorat is an accomplished mechanical engineer with experience in product development, technical leadership, and mentorship. He has worked in mid to high-volume consumer electronics and other industries that demand rigor and creative problem-solving. Coby specializes in component and system design, 3D CAD, R&D, prototyping, manufacturing, engineering analysis, electronics, sensor integration, risk mitigation, and testing & validation.

Coby has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has worked in various lead, senior, and consultant mechanical engineering positions at PAX, Bolt, Intel Corporation, BASIS, Cisco, MOTO Development Group, and Oceanic Worldwide. His experience and expertise include waterproof design, optics, camera integration, troubleshooting, root cause determination, vendor management, materials sourcing, and product scaling.
