With extensive experience in strategic M&A transactions, due diligence, valuations, integrations, divestitures and IPO’s, he has advised private & public companies, high net worth individuals, private equity firms, and pension funds. John has also worked for Forbes & Manhattan, a leading private merchant bank with a global focus. At Forbes & Manhattan, John was President & Chief Executive Officer of Pitchblack Resources, Russo Forest, and Forbes Timber. He has also held executive positions at Private Company (M&A), CanWel Building Materials, and Weyerhaeuser. John Taggart has an educational background in Strategic Marketing and has also done his Bachelor of Arts from Acadia University and MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
